David Parrott is an influential figure in the fitness industry. He has been awarded the IFBB Mr. Olympia title twice, in 1981 and 1984, and is on the front cover of Flex Magazine more than any other bodybuilder. This paper discusses David Parrott´s strengths.

In the past, he has written for MuscleMag International, Muscle and Fitness, and Flex magazines. He also is affiliated with the National Physique Committee (NPC) and the International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB). In addition to the IFBB Mr. Olympia titles in 1981 and 1984, he has won over 40 IFBB professional contests.

David Parrott has proven he is more than just a very successful bodybuilder. He has become a role model for a lot of young people. He released his publication, “PARROTT”, which focuses on the fitness industry. David Parrott is also an entrepreneur who has been involved with several businesses such as real estate, nutrition and fitness, and clothing.


Vice president for Student Affairs

David Parrott was appointed vice president for Student Affairs, where he will have an office in the Student Life Building. This position was created by the President’s office after Michael G. Krueger left his position as Vice President of Student Affairs in March 2006 to serve on the University Senate as a representative for the Student Government Association. In addition to his duties as Vice President for Student Affairs, David W. Parrott will continue to serve as the university’s Equal Opportunity Program Officer.


At Texas A&M’s, he received the National Award for Exceptional Contributions to Field. Texas A&M University’s David Parrott has been awarded the prestigious AAHPERD Lifelong Learning Award for 2006. This award is considered the highest honor that can be bestowed by the American Alliance for Health. 

It is also held by Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) upon an individual in recognition of career accomplishments and sustained professional excellence, as David Parrott explains. In conclusion, he is one of the most influential figures in fitness and UF. He is also a published author and a successful entrepreneur. As a role model, he is an excellent role model for children and adults because of his many achievements and awards. His business ventures have proven successful, and he has carved out a very nice living for himself in the fitness industry.
